Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

THE JOB

Are you seeking to pursue a career in a busy office environment? We are looking to strengthen our Commercial Team with a Commercial Administrator based in Cardiff.

 

As Commercial Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Commercial Team, providing an effective and efficient administrative support to the Team.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keeping up to date and monitoring a register of application dates, to ensure applications are prepared and issued by the Commercial Team within specified deadlines.

  • Assisting with preparing and submitting payment applications or invoices.

  • Raising and issuing Subcontract Orders and monitoring the return of signed Subcontractor Documents. Keeping the register of Subcontract Orders up to date.

  • Maintaining and monitoring a register of SMAS certification and requesting renewal documents upon entry.

  • Maintaining and monitoring Company PQQ system.

  • Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Team.

  • Printing, scanning and / or copying documents.

  • Maintaining the Commercial Filing systems and making sure documents are stored in correct folders on SharePoint.

  • Entering or adjusting data on Dynamics 365.

  • Providing cover for other staff members as and when requested.

  • Any other administrative duties the Company may reasonably request.

  • Committed to following procedures and ensuring tasks are fully completed.

  • Good accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to use own initiative within the parameters of the role.

 

MUST HAVE

  • Excellent punctuality and attendance.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Friendly positive attitude and ability to work with other members of the team.

 

DESIRABLE / BENEFICIAL

  • Dynamics 365 Business Central.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).

  • Experience in Mechanical & Electrical Industry.

  • Experience in similar role.
