Job Title: Senior Craftsperson
Location: Cardiff (including various sites across Wales)
Contract: Full Time
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm
Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate, based on experience

THE JOB
We are seeking an experienced senior craftsperson “pipefitter” to join our growing HVAC team.
This is a key role for a skilled professional who can lead installations, interpret complex drawings, ensure high quality workmanship and mentor junior staff.
You will work on a range of commercial and industrial projects, delivering high-standard mechanical pipework for heating, chilled water, domestic, ventilation and associated HVAC systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pipefitter looking to work on varied projects within a professional and safety-focused environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation of carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and plastic pipework systems.
Install, assemble, and maintain HVAC pipework systems to specification.
Working from technical drawings, schematics and specifications.
Fabrication, fitting, and installation of heating and chilled water systems.
Installation of plant room pipework including pumps, valves and associated equipment.
Carrying out pressure testing, commissioning support, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
Coordinating with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on site.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping.
Lead and supervise pipefitting activities on site, ensuring safe and efficient working practices.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience as a pipefitter within the HVAC sector
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
NVQ Level 2/3 MES Heating and Ventilating – Installation
Valid CSCS Card
IPAF Certification (desirable but not mandatory)
PASMA Certification (desirable but not mandatory)
Full UK driving license (essential)
Strong understanding of health and safety practices
Motivated individual that can work as part of a team and to their own initiative.
