THE JOB

As our Business continues to grow, we are looking for a BIM Coordinator to join an established BIM Team in Cardiff.

As BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing 2D Drawings and develop 3D Models, using Autodesk Revit.

The position plays a crucial role in ensuring the drawings produced for our projects are accurate, efficient and completed within the established parameters of the project.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage Revit MEP models for building services projects.

• Produce accurate 3D models and 2D drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

• Regularly reviewing and updating 3D models and 2D drawings when required.

• Coordinate designs across Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Packages (MEP).

• Carry out clash detection and resolve coordination issues.

• Support project teams from design through to construction handover.

• Contribute to improving BIM workflows and digital engineering processes.

 DESIRABLE / BENEFICIAL

• Preferably experienced as a BIM Coordinator in a building services environment or similar role, but not essential.

• A Technical Qualification from an established field (Engineering, Architecture, Design & Technology, Building Services etc.) – desirable but not essential.

• Good knowledge of Building Services Systems, including Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Packages (MEP)

• Good knowledge of BIM Terminology.

• Proficiency in Navisworks and experience in clash detection.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Good understanding of Revit MEP functionality including modelling systems, creating and working with schedules.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
