UHP Nitrogen Distribution.
-
Integrated Gas Detection System.
-
Simultaneous Heating & Cooling Heat Pumps.
-
DI Water Generation & Distribution.
Paragraf is the first company in the world to mass produce graphene-based electronic devices using standard semiconductor processes. The cleanroom facility will be used for the production of 150mm wafers, utilising Paragraf’s unique graphene on wafer processes. Graphene (a hexagonal single layer of carbon atoms over 150,000 times thinner than the average human hair) is now able to be used to revolutionise the performance of next generation electronic devices. Paragraf utilise this modern technology to provide unique solutions in a range of applications, including automotive, industrial automation, consumer, diagnostics and agritech and in doing so, have attracted national and international attention from outlets such as The Guardian, The Times, The New York Times and Sky News.
Construction of the new manufacturing facility for Paragraf follows a string of cleanroom and semiconductor projects CMB have undertaken in the last six years, including: IQE, CSA Catapult, TRH (Cardiff Uni), CISM (Swansea Uni), and the latest – KLA UK in Newport. We are proud to be one of the leading companies in the UK in developing these facilities that will play a crucial role in technological advancements in our country and across the world.
CMB Pre-Construction Director, Tomas Llasera, added: “It was a real pleasure to work with a proactive and hands-on customer to deliver a project from an empty shell to a functioning cleanroom through all the stages. A special mention and thank you goes to both the CMB team and subcontractors who worked on this project from start to finish and made it the success that it has been.”
