In March 2020, CMB were awarded the Mechanical Services contract by ISG for a New 786-bedroom student accommodation tower, Seren, in the centre of Swansea.

The mechanical works comprised of LTHW heating, Domestic hot and cold water, Heat recovery ventilation and an energy efficient combined heat and power system, along with sprinkler and natural smoke ventilation which form part of the life safety systems within the building.

The modern and stylish student accommodation block is kitted out with a range of facilities including a gym, a basketball court, an indoor and outdoor cinema space, a games room, bike storage room, dining rooms, a library and several more rooms for people to socialise.

We proudly met our handover date of 10th September 2021 thanks to our dedicated CMB West team who went above and beyond to hit deadlines and targets in order to get the students moved in on time.

We are also happy to announce that CMB Maintenance have been awarded the maintenance contract for this project.
