Halo is a new build office block based in the Finzel’s Reach development of Bristol City Centre. The project follows the previous developments of Aurora which we partnered with Willmott Dixon and Cubex on in the same area.
Our team were involved early on this project to assist in managing the clients budget and design requirements to ensure standards remained high, whilst balancing budget constraints.
Halo offers 8 floors of unique design and open plan office space and is BREEAM outstanding, making it the most sustainable office outside of London in the UK.
CMB’s works on this project includes:
Installation of pipe fan coil units
Ventilation
BMS controls
Sanitary ware to core areas
Roof top plant
LV distribution
Riser busbar systems
LED lighting
Mechanical Power
Fire Alarms
Roof mounted pv panels
The project is due to complete in April 2022.
We are currently approaching completion of 1st and 2nd fix activities with roof plant being installed through November and are anticipating a completion of mid-2022.
Quality remains at the heart of what we do at CMB and current feedback from client teams and WD auditors suggest we are achieving that quality standard. Our project team are working exceptionally well through challenging times, and we look forward to sharing more progress on this development as it comes.
