Last Friday at CMB’s Cardiff Office, we showed our support to a Trust that we are sure is close to many of the hearts of our staff in the South Wales region, Velindre Cancer Centre. Velindre is Wales’s leading specialist cancer diagnostic and treatment centre, where they provide services to over 1.5 million people across South East Wales and beyond.
In support of Velindre, our staff showed up on Friday donating money to wear red, raffling Cardiff City football tickets, and hosting a bake sale. CMB raised a total of £500 that we are pleased will pay a contribution to Velindre’s specialist research and their provision of treatment and care for their patients across Wales.
Thank you to Amy, Chris and Lucy for showing us your baking skills, all the staff that donated towards the day and to our Managing Director Steve for donating the Cardiff City tickets and rounding the figure up from £352.60 to £500.
