Last week our CMB Bristol office attended the On Site Bristol Open Evening Event at the Create Centre.
On Site are part of Bristol City Councils’ Employment, Skills and Learning Service. They provide construction employment and learning opportunities to young people in Bristol and are who CMB Bristol work with to take on their new apprentices every year.
Craig Baker, Bristol Managing Director and George Douglas, Project Manager, attended the event on behalf of CMB to provide the students with a first-hand account of what it means to be a Mechanical and Electrical engineer and to remind young people that this is a secure and prosperous industry to go into that requires skill and strong work ethic.
The attendance at this careers event was fantastic, with Craig and George kept busy answering questions from potential future apprentices.
Thank you to On Site Bristol for organising and to Craig and George for giving up their time to represent our business and industry to the next generation of engineers – we wish the students the best of luck in their application process!
