David joined CMB Engineering in 2012 as Manager of Health & Safety, expanding the company's knowledge of environmental and quality management.

David began his career as a mechanical pipefitting apprentice at T Costelow & Sons in 2001. Following a successful completion of his apprenticeship in 2004, he then took on a supervisor/contracts manager role on the John Lewis store in Cardiff, working under Crown House Technologies and overseeing the mechanical package. Throughout his career, David has also gained diplomas in Occupational Health and Safety Management, Environmental Management, and is a Chartered member of IOSH.

David's management style is leading by example, he loves engaging with people and supporting them in improving professionally and technically. He believes his biggest managerial attribute is that he has a pragmatic approach to his role as H&S Director, firm in his beliefs that he never delegates a task to someone that either he hasn't done himself, or isn't willing to do himself.
