Hakan joined CMB Engineering in November 1997 as the Company’s Quantity Surveyor, supporting the Commercial aspect of CMB Engineering.

Hakan started his career as a Quantity Surveyor working for Haley Somerset in Croydon, working on Building Services contracts in London and the Southeast.

Hakan then joined Keith Baker & Son (now Chandler KBS) in Cardiff to work on a wide range of Building & Civil Engineering projects, before leaving to join Johnson & Baxter in 1996.

In 2008, He became a Company Director, overseeing the Commercial aspect of the Business and Team of Quantity Surveyors, later progressing as Group Commercial Director in July 2018.
