ISG held their World Quality Day this month at the Interchange in Cardiff. The aim was to give clients and customers an insight into what sustainability means in the construction industry and how the Interchange, as a BRE Home Quality Mark ONE project, is achieving this.
CMB Interchange Manager Richard Smithen led the conversation for CMB discussing how we changed the fresh air and exhaust ductwork from plastic duct insulated with mineral wool to pre-insulated ductwork, saving an estimated 4500m2 of insulation. It also removed the need for additional working at height, providing an added health and safety benefit.
We even won a Quality Award from ISG for our works on the project. Thank you to everyone involved in what was a great day and a special mention to all the CMB site team who are helping make this project a success.
