CMB Engineering have been listed as number 26 in the Top 100 ‘Owner-Managed Business’ in the June/July edition of Wales Business Insider.
The news comes after having already been listed in numerous awards and Top Business articles in 2021, including: Quality Award from ISG; Top 25 Companies in Cardiff by Wales Business Insider; Investors in People Gold Award; Top 30 M&E Contractors in the UK by Construction Enquirer; and Employer of the Year at the QSA Awards.
Steve Borley is coming up on his 30th year as CMB Engineering Managing Director and is key to the culture and ethos that the organisation has. As a recently announced ‘Top 100 Owner-Managed Business’, Steve commented: “It’s been a fantastic journey from the early days when we started the business with no idea where it would take us with just £250.00. Whilst we are classed as an owner-managed business, it’s very much an ever-growing team effort based on our train and retain policy. We have been fortunate to have a loyal supportive client base who share our values in business.”
