As Fairwater Community Campus nears the end of Phase 2, we recently visited the site to bring you a latest video update where we are pleased to report the project has progressed at an incredible pace, transitioning rapidly from external envelope and superstructure works to internal fit-out stages.
External hard and soft landscaping is progressing across all areas, with tarmac surfacing and paving works actively ongoing and the building envelope now almost complete – revealing the high-quality finished brickwork. Photovoltaic (PV) panels installation is also well underway on the roof, contributing to the project’s key sustainability targets.
Meanwhile, in Cantonian High School, internal final finishes are coming together, bringing spaces close to completion, whilst internal wall construction and 1st fix M&E services are progressing at pace in Riverbank and Woodlands.
The focus remains on the Health & Wellbeing building where commissioning and snagging activities are in full swing, and will mark the first area scheduled for handover at the end of August.
We’re pleased to continue seeing the success and progress of this project since BESL stepped in as Principal Contractor in November, and a special thank you goes to the entire workforce on this job who are helping to make this possible.
