Rhys Edwards – New WBA Inter-Continental Featherweight Champion

On behalf of all at CMB Engineering, we would like to say a huge congratulations to Wales’ Rhys Edwards who fought and beat Thomas Ward on the undercard for the Lauren Price v Jessica McCaskill this Saturday at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff. Rhys’s win now secures him as the new WBA Inter-Continental featherweight champion.

Edwards trains at the Llanrumney Phoenix Boxing Club in Cardiff and with CMB having close ties to Llanrumney as well as a long history with supporting Welsh sports, we were proud to sponsor the fighter in what he described as the biggest moment of his career.

Edwards put on an entertaining performance, putting him now at 16 - 0 and it was even labelled as the Fight of the Night by Boxxer.
