Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our hard-working commercial team in the Cardiff Head Office on a full-time basis.


As part of that team, you will be taking on quantity surveying and commercial management duties, supporting our engineers and site teams on a wide range of projects across the UK.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the building and/or process services sectors and will have relevant qualifications.



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)

  • Recording and monitoring of all site activities and costs being expended on site contracts.

  • Preparing and maintaining summaries of all measured works.

  • Maintaining a schedule of submissions and responses, for approvals, inspections, variations etc.

  • Preparation of Interim Valuations and Final Account

  • Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.

  • Preparation of Subcontractors payments and recording/monitoring of all site works.

  • Preparation of Monthly Commercial reports in conjunction with Contracts Manager and Site Team.

  • Maintaining all MEP QS documents and logs / registers applicable.

  • Co-ordinate with all company departments as required for the execution of site contracts.

  • Assisting in the preparation/issue of subcontract orders.




  • Excellent time management skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Good communications skills.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team and to tight deadlines.

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word etc.).

  • Ability to use initiative within the parameters of the role (a proactive approach).
