THE JOB:
We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our hard-working commercial team in the Cardiff Head Office on a full-time basis.
As part of that team, you will be taking on quantity surveying and commercial management duties, supporting our engineers and site teams on a wide range of projects across the UK.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the building and/or process services sectors and will have relevant qualifications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)
Recording and monitoring of all site activities and costs being expended on site contracts.
Preparing and maintaining summaries of all measured works.
Maintaining a schedule of submissions and responses, for approvals, inspections, variations etc.
Preparation of Interim Valuations and Final Account
Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.
Preparation of Subcontractors payments and recording/monitoring of all site works.
Preparation of Monthly Commercial reports in conjunction with Contracts Manager and Site Team.
Maintaining all MEP QS documents and logs / registers applicable.
Co-ordinate with all company departments as required for the execution of site contracts.
Assisting in the preparation/issue of subcontract orders.

Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word etc.).
Ability to use initiative within the parameters of the role (a proactive approach).
