Job Title: Health & Safety Administrator
Reports To: HSE Director
Location: Cardiff
Contract: Fulltime – 37.5 Hours a Week
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

THE JOB:
Are you seeking to pursue a career in Health & Safety? We are looking to strengthen our HSE Team with a Health & Safety Administrator based in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for all aspects of HSE Administration
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (includes but not limited to)
Monitor the HSE inbox for induction submissions and assess training certification submitted by contractors.
Monitor company training matrix, liaise with employees to ensure training is updated on time and as required.
Liaise with trainers/contributors and service providers from inside and outside the institution, raising purchase orders and processing related administration.
Monitor company health surveillance matrix, liaise with employees and service providers to ensure employee health surveillance records are maintained and up to date.
Manage sub-contractor training folders to ensure compliance with the business minimum standards.
Provide assistance with recording of carbon emissions and environmental administration as required.
Providing support to the HSE team in creation of PowerPoint, word and excel documents.
Monitor and maintain the records of employee PPE signage.
Produce minutes and reports for scheduled HSE committee and review meetings.
Provide assistance with maintaining risk assessment templates.
Contribute and record all communications for distribution to employees regarding policy briefings, HSE paperwork returns.
Provide support for the running of the H&S Committee, and other working groups as required.
Make recommendations to improve the efficiency of existing processes and participate in process reviews as required.
Any other administrative duties the Company may reasonably request.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Passionate and motivated.
Experience in a Health & Safety role (Desirable).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel / Word / Outlook / PowerPoint).
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Friendly positive attitude and ability to work with other members of the team.
Willing to take the initiative to resolve a problem.
Willingness to potentially work towards an IOSH Health & Safety Certificate or equivalent.
