THE JOB


As our Business continues to grow, we are looking for an Estimating Administrator to join an established Estimating Team.

 

As Estimating Administrator, you will be responsible for providing support to our Estimating & Pre-Construction Department in all aspects of tender and bid submissions.

 

The position plays a crucial role in ensuring our projects tenders are budgeted effectively and completed within the established financial parameters and tight deadlines.

 

This is a Part Time Role, with hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday. Hours can be negotiated, depending on the right individual.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Issue tender enquiries to sub-contractors using the correct process.

  • Collate quotations to ensure that they are received by the stipulated deadline.

  • Distribute returned quotes to the appropriate Estimator.

  • Check tender documents and create a document / drawing register.

  • Printing documents and drawings as required.

  • Logging all new tender enquiries.

  • Organizing and digitally filing all relative tender documentation.

  • Assist with producing tender presentation documents for submission to clients.

  • Any other administrative duties the Company may reasonably request.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to build productive relationships at all levels.

  • Friendly positive attitude and ability to work with other members of the team.

  • Full UK driving license.

  • Motivated individual that can work as part of a team and to their own initiative.

  • Ability to be proactive with tasks and duties

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Committed to following procedures and ensuring tasks are fully completed.

  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to use own initiative within the parameters of the role.
