On Saturday 9th May, 10 members of the CMB Engineering team took on the 109-mile Carten100 charity cycle ride from Cardiff to Tenby in support of Latch Welsh Children's Cancer Charity.
What began with a fundraising target of £1,000 quickly turned into something even more special, with the team proudly raising over £1,500 for this important cause.
Crossing the finish line together in their team jerseys was a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the dedication, teamwork, and determination shown throughout the challenge. Everyone involved represented CMB brilliantly, and we are incredibly proud of the effort shown both on the road and through the fundraising support received.
A special thank you to those who took part from CMB (and our supply chain) including: Tom Price, Nathan Brace, Catrin Ellis, Ian Packer, Matt Morris, Ben Wright, Mark Stogdon, Gareth Edwards, Paul O’Sullivan, Geraint Evans, and Mason Bermingham – who organised the event and helped make it such a success. Thank you also to our friends at Sam Drylining for sponsoring the team jerseys!
We look forward to continuing to support and take part in more fundraising initiatives in the future.
