We were delighted to support and organise a recent business event on behalf of our friends at Llanrumney Hall Community Trust, bringing together a group of local businesses for a meaningful morning of networking.
Our sincere thanks go to Cardiff’s Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress for joining us for this event and for delivering a talk sharing their experiences of their time in office. It provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to gain insight into their work and the causes they support.
We’re pleased to announce we raised a fantastic £5,000 through the event, with proceeds being split between Llanrumney Hall (a community centre offering resources, events and programmes for locals) and the Lord Mayor’s chosen charities, Forget-Me-Not Chorus (supporting people living with dementia) and Rescue Hotel (improving the care and rehoming of rescue dogs).
The event allowed local businesses in attendance to gain a deeper understanding of the incredible work that takes place at Llanrumney Hall and how businesses can support both them and their community.
Thank you to all those who attended, including Evans Electrical Ltd, HSJ Accountants, Business & Tax Advisors, Cardiff Commissioning Limited, The Cadmen, Greenscape Systems, Thomas Carroll Group, Forrest Brown and Ken Poole MBE, Head of Economic Development at Cardiff Council. Your support and participation made the occasion a great success.
A special thank you also to Llanrumney Hall for hosting us, which included a fantastic guided tour of their 1,000-year-old Grade II Listed building, rich with Welsh history – we strongly encourage you to visit!
We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that bring local businesses and local charities together in the future.
