It is Part of a Masterplan for this area which has been designed by Foster + Partners. The principal access will be off Wood Street which will be in constant use in line with a city centre public highway. The Plot 2 Project consists of a Steel Frame Structure with concrete cores. The project has an estimated value of £10 Million. Here at CMB we will be providing the mechanical and electrical services for the project.
The Cores include Four Lifts (Two Fire Fighting & Two Passenger) with two Staircase Cores and an additional lift between Basement and Ground for Waste Management purposes which extends to the Mezzanine Level. The External Facade is a Stick Curtain Walling System with Metal Cladding to the Core from Levels 6 up to the Roof. The Roof will consist of an inverted Hot Melt System with Paving and a Ballast Perimeter this will includes the Terrace Area on the 7th Floor. There is an Aluminium Slat Louvered System on the Ground Floor encasing three sides of the Access Ramp to Plot 2 & 3.
