“It was an honour to collect 2 awards at the Willmott Dixon supply chain event last week.
Firstly, the site supervisor award for Dave Gibbard and then the award for supply chain partner of the year.
Both awards reflect the hard work and commitment within the Bristol team.”
Below are some extracts from nominations by Willmott Dixon personnel within the South West Region:-
“The reason for my nomination is : from a precon view point they are consistently involved in early cost advice for new schemes, they highlight throughout the process where the design is evolving and conflicting, where the risks sit, and offer solutions to the commercial challenges we face. They were a massive help on Finzels PRS, where again the project was massively over budget and was brought back to affordability through the VE process which M&E featured largely. PRS was a new sector for us, with an important local customer looking to develop relationships with us, and what we have delivered together so far has been very successful. Out of all the companies we deal with CMB I would say are most like a partner to us.”
“The reason for my nomination is : They have created a culture within their business aligned with that of Willmott Dixon, based on trust, openness, honesty and respect. They fully engage at all levels throughout the life of all Opportunities whether it is an early stage cost plan or a tender. They are always willing to offer a technical opinion and a solution rather than a problem. Their approach to Project delivery, I feel is unique in that they work collaboratively with us as a true member of the team. They are totally committed to the job handing over on time and to the high quality standards we set ourselves. They are currently involved in schemes at Finzels Reach, Bower Ashton and in Cardiff. They are striving to meet apprentice targets providing opportunities to the generation of the future. Their health and safety standards continue to grow to align with Willmott Dixon requirements. They operate a very much ” do what we say ” attitude and are fully committed to developing their business in Line with ours.”
“They tick everybox in way. They exude trust and confidence in a one team environment working with all of our people consistently from pre-con, through the delivery of our projects and where necessary supporting our customer care team after. As well as this service they demonstrate a true desire to support the communities they operate within and ensure our Customers are astounded through the high quality of their, and ultimately our end product.”
