2008 / 2009 projections

Another financial year draws to a close and it's yet again a time for reflection on recent performance and of anticipation of what's around the corner.

Turnover predictions of £29m for 2007 / 2008 proved to be on the conservative side with actual figures ending up circa £35m. A hugely successful year for the company which included a fruitful first year of trading for CMB Bristol Ltd as well as completion of major contracts such as the new Swansea Leisure Centre (£6m), the Celtic Manor Resort's new Ryder Cup Clubhouse (£1.1m), and the new Cardiff home for the University of Glamorgan's C.S.C.C.I. department (£2.7m).

Looking ahead to 2008 / 2009; with £31m of contract work already secured for the coming year the workload at CMB certainly doesn't look like easing off. Add to this the launch of CMB West Ltd and we should have an exciting, not to mention extremely busy, year ahead.
