New Insider Top 300 ranking

A profitable business is of more use than a global brand or stratospheric sales figures. This is the view of leading welsh business publication Wales Business Insider, in what they describe as an increasingly uncertain time for companies in Wales. The 2008 edition of their annual Insider Top 300 report has now been published making for satisfying reading for many of Wales' top companies, CMB Engineering included.

A 2008 ranking of 130 has seen CMB climb 65 places from last year's sophomore effort of 195. This accompanies regular appearances in the H & V News monthly league tables listing the M & E contractors in Wales winning the most work.

As usual, the report aims to give an informed assessment of success levels within corporate Wales. To achieve this, businesses are judged on both turnover and pre-tax profits. By incorporating both factors into the equation, the report claims to give a more accurate overview of the most significant companies in Wales.

Those within CMB Engineering are naturally delighted that their experience and hard work are paying off dividends and, with key contracts already secured for the coming year, the future promises to bring even greater rewards.
