Wales Fast Growth 50

CMB Engineering have come in at no.28 in the 2009 Wales Fast Growth 50, printed in today's Western Mail. This is CMB's debut appearance in the annual list and is based on growth of 105.5% between 2006 and 2008.

The Fast Growth 50 was initiated in 1999 to acknowledge the performance of individual businesses in Wales by identifying the fastest growing firms over a two year period. Now recognised as a barometer for the state of entrepreneurial firms within the Welsh economy, this year's list is dominated by medium-sized businesses such as CMB as well as having a healthy showing from the construction and building services sector.

2006-2008 saw CMB win some high profile contracts such as the new Cardiff City stadium as well as complete work on Swansea's new Leisure Complex development. CMB also ventured over the River Severn with the opening of the Bristol Office. A major statement of intent by the company and with key early contracts, Herefordshire College of Technology and works at Portishead Quays, the move has proved to be a major success.

Proud to have earnt a place on the list; CMB Engineering recognise the importance of all these growing companies to the Welsh economy and a sustainable economic future for the country. CMB intends to be at the forefront of this growth for years to come.
